Franklin Capital is a private investment company focused on value-add real property investments. Over the past twenty-three years Franklin has invested in all types of existing commercial investment property and commercial development projects, primarily in the Greater Boston area. We focus on commercial and multi-family investments in prime locations. Our investment analysis is thoughtful and research-based. We do our homework. Historically we have avoided over-hyped markets by staying grounded in market research and decision making based on actual market demand.

Properties are either acquired directly by Franklin Capital or funds are invested as passive participations with other investment companies. Franklin invests its own funds and invests funds for a select group of individual investors. We look for quality properties in markets we know well. Our belief is that the best locations never go out of style, a philosophy which has proven itself time and again through the dramatic real estate cycles over the past twenty-three years.

Franklin has long-standing relationships with mortgage lenders and is considered an excellent credit. Our approach is conservative. We have always taken a cautious approach to borrowing and debt levels are always significantly lower than the industry norm. We have never defaulted on a loan, never missed a loan payment, and have never lost money for investors.
